The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers again on Friday and they will likely have their All-Star point guard available.

According to The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Stephen Curry is probable versus the Clippers on Friday despite sustaining an ankle injury.

Curry suffered a tweak to his ankle during Golden State's loss to Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Despite exiting the game early, he would proceed to play a team-high 34 minutes while he struggled to find his shot, finishing with 13 points and five assists on 5-of-17 shooting from the field.

Following his minor injury on Wednesday, Curry didn't participate in the team's practice on Thursday. However, it was noted that none of the veterans on the roster for the Warriors were taking part in practice.

Even though he didn't practice, Steve Kerr seemed content with Curry's injury status ahead of Friday's rematch with the Clippers. Provided that, it would be a surprise to see Curry not on the court when the Warriors tip-off on Friday night.

With Klay Thompson out for the season, Curry has had to shoulder more of the workload to begin the season. At the same time, the players around Curry are still trying to find their roles on the roster.

Through his first eight games of the season, Curry is averaging 29.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists while shooting 35.6 percent from outside the arc. Of course, his best game came against the Portland Trail Blazers last Sunday when he notched a career-high 62 points.

When the Warriors look to split their two-game series against the Clippers on Friday, Curry is expected to be in the starting lineup.
