Golden State Warriors swingman Kent Bazemore couldn't help but take a hilarious jab at Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal amid his scoring race with superstar Stephen Curry.

Curry and Beal are neck-and-neck for this season's scoring title, with the Warriors sharpshooter slightly ahead at 31.9 points per game against the Wizards vet's 31.4. However, Steph got a major boost in his bid to claim the honor after Beal has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Atlanta Hawks due to a hamstring injury.

Of course, such development didn't escape Bazemore, who used the opportunity to poke fun at Beal while lifting his own teammate.

“Forty-nine points in 29 minutes, that’s unreal,” Bazemore said, referring to Curry's Saturday explosion against the Oklahoma City Thunder, per NBC Washington. “We got guys hurting hamstrings to keep up.”

“Y’all gotta do some research on that,” the Warriors guard added while grinning.

All jokes aside, Stephen Curry certainly has the perfect opportunity to put the scoring title in his bag. While the Warriors play a great defensive team in the Utah Jazz next, it is worth remembering that Steph  put up 32 points the last time they met.

Moreover, through the last five games, Curry has been averaging 38.2 points on an efficient 48.0 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from 3-point territory.

Sure, Steph will be more focused on getting the W as they try to keep a hold of the eighth seed in the Western Conference for a better chance to make the playoffs. While he does that, though, everyone will be watching for his next scoring explosion to complete one of the most incredible and feel-good stories of the campaign.

Sorry, Beal!
