Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry can't seem to catch a break.

The former two-time MVP returned last night against the Atlanta Hawks after missing some time with an ankle injury. It didn't take long for Curry to suffer another injury, diagnosed as an MCL sprain that the team is describing as a strain. An MRI is scheduled today.

It doesn't sound like this injury will be too serious although anything surrounding the knee is always cause for concern. Late at night after the game, Curry offered his thoughts on the situation.

Warriors fans can agree here that it is indeed fortunate that this wasn't another ankle injury — Curry's nemesis in the injury world ever since he came to the NBA.

We'll find out later today the severity of the injury while the Warriors limp toward the playoffs. They are destined for a two-seed now with the Houston Rockets firing on all cylinders of late. For the team that has won two of the last three titles, that's not the biggest concern as healthy is at the forefront of their minds at the moment.
