The big buzz of the NBA offseason has surrounded LeBron James and his decision to take his talents to Southern California to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. It wasn't a shocking decision by any means, but it still surprised some because the Lakers still haven't brought in another superstar to team up with the kid from Akron.

The Western Conference was already loaded, and that hasn't changed with James switching conferences. Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry doesn't seem too worried about The King being in the same state as him, because he knows that James is still going to have to go through him. He broke it all down with Sam Amick of USA Today:

“There's a lot that's been made about the competition in the West and his eight straight Finals appearances and all that, but that just makes everybody raise the antenna up a little bit—including us. It's going to be fun for fans, playing [more] in the regular season and who knows in the playoffs. So the West obviously got stronger with LeBron but you've still got to beat us.”

What the Lakers will look like when the season starts is still up in the air, but Stephen Curry admits that the pieces are falling in place for something special.

“I don't know what they're going to be as a team, because obviously it's brand new and they don't have their identity. But at the end of the day they'll come together with LeBron leading the charge. At the end of the day, he's in a great market, he's in a great city, he's around a great organization that has had a history of winning, he's with [Lakers president of basketball operations] Magic [Johnson]. It's interesting for him to make a move.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Warriors were the big rivalry for the last few years, but could that change this year to be the Lakers and the Warriors? Only time will tell.
