After recently signing a two-way deal with the Golden State Warriors, NBA G League standout Damion Lee was welcomed by his teammates with open arms. Now, two-time MVP Stephen Curry has literally welcomed Lee to the Curry family after the latter tied the know with the former's sister, Sydel Curry.

In an Instagram post, Steph shared a photo of himself and the groom accompanied by a brief, yet endearing message for his new brother-in-law. Of note, you need to be signed on Instagram to see the post.

Lee, who is Curry's former future brother-in-law, has officially become part of the growing Curry family, and according to Steph, now his “for real brother-in-law.”

Lee started his college basketball career in Drexel University before shifting to Louisville for his senior year. He entered himself into the 2016 NBA Draft, but eventually went undrafted.

Lee had stints with the Maine Red Claws and the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League before being signed by the Atlanta Hawks midway through last season. In 15 games with the Hawks, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged 10.7 points, 1.0 three-pointers, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 26.9 minutes per contest.

The Warriors saw Lee as a viable prospect and signed him to a two-way contract in July. The deal stipulates that he will likely be spending his season with the Santa Cruz Warriors while waiting for a call up from head coach Steve Kerr.

Lee's hard work and perseverance over the past few years have paid off big time this summer. Not only has he forced his way into a dynasty in the making, but he has also married the love of his life. Best wishes to Damion and Sydel.
