Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry won't play Friday in Seattle against the Sacramento Kings due to personal reasons. It's the final game at Seattle’s KeyArena.

Draymond Green also won't be playing due to a sore knee.

Curry played in the Warriors' preseason opener versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. He finished with 21 points while shooting 7-of-11 from the field, 5-of-9 from beyond the arc and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Hopefully, everything is alright with Curry and his family. When a team says a player is missing a game for personal reasons, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what is going on.

A two-time MVP and three-time NBA champion, Curry averaged 26.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game last season. The sharpshooter shot 49.5 percent from the floor, 42.3 percent from 3-point range and 92.1 percent from the charity stripe. Curry and the Warriors won their second straight championship over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Finals.

The Warriors are heavy favorites to win their third straight title this season. The team added All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins in the offseason. Once Cousins returns from his Achilles injury, Golden State will have five All-Stars in its starting lineup.

Barring something unforeseen, Curry will likely capture his fourth ring in five years this season. The 30-year-old has already established himself as the best shooter of all time.
