Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry didn't win the MVP trophy last season, but that doesn't mean his popularity has waned. In fact, it's the complete opposite.

This season Nike took control of the uniform designs for each NBA team making Statement, Association, Icon, and City uniforms which were not all revealed at the same time.

When the word got out that the Warriors would debut a new alternate jersey this season, made to pay homage to the city of Oakland, fans were licking their chops in anticipation of seeing and possibly grabbing them.

The Warriors remain one of the league's best teams coming fresh off of a championship run, and that's also reflecting in apparel sales as well. To no one's surprise, ESPN’s sports business guru Darren Rovell posted a Tweet with an update on Tuesday.

As Cyber Monday came and went, the sales of NBA merchandise soared to over 43 percent compared to last year and the results showed that fans chose Stephen Curry's statement jersey as the best-selling product.

This is Curry's second year in a row ranking above his peers in jersey sales, and fans love the Warriors' Oakland-themed “The Town” jerseys.

Beginning in 2019, the Warriors will be moving back to the San Francisco area where the team originally resided and where it began its rich history in the Bay Area.

Stephen Curry is averaging 26.0 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game this season.
