Stephen Curry's mom; Sonya, wasn't thrilled when she got wind of her son's words after a rampant streak of eight straight baskets that concluded in the Golden State Warriors point guard facing the crowd and yelling “This is my f***ing house” after taking MVP frontrunner James Harden to the cup for a floater.

“She already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back,” Curry said during the post-game press conference, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes. “She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It's a message I've heard before.”

Curry reportedly “blacked out” after getting in the zone in the third quarter, scoring 18 of his 35 points in the third quarter, which the Warriors rode to a 126-85 thumping of the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.

Already leading by 11 at the half, the Warriors extended that advantaged to 21 by the end of the third, and provided the kill shot on the fourth — expanding that lead to 41 once garbage time kicked in.

Golden State had received a beating of its own in Game 2, when the Rockets beat the Warriors by 22 points, making this bounce-back game for Curry and the team all the more important.

As great of a mother as Sonya is, chances are these instances are forgiven when her son uses it to keep a sold-out crowd on its feet with special moments like this one.
