Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant’s Twitter mishap is continuing to be a much talked-about topic in the basketball community. It has drawn mixed reactions, and many have made their thoughts known about it on social media. Stephen Jackson though, took it to another level by speaking his mind when asked to give his opinion during the latest episode of ESPN’s “The Jump.”

The former NBA player made it known that he no longer has respect for the reigning Finals MVP. He also questioned why he needs to have a fake account to defend himself on Twitter, and even went as far as saying he is now only an “egg avatar” to him.

It can be recalled that there were tweets posted using Durant’s account wherein he addressed himself in the third person. This puts into question if there may be other people who handle his activities on the social media platform, or he simply forgot to switch to an alternate account before posting. Because of this, the hate comments directed at Kevin Durant do not appear to be nearing an end anytime soon.

It’s no secret that Durant has not been the most popular player in the NBA since his controversial decision to join the Warriors last summer. Now with this social media mishap, it will further damage his image, and can be considered a PR nightmare for him.
