Stephen A Smith says a lot of crazy things on his show, First Take, which airs weekdays on ESPN. To no one's surprise, he was back at it again on Friday morning when talking about Golden State Warriors sharpshooting guard Klay Thompson as well as Cleveland Cavaliers all-around star LeBron James.

“I would not trade Klay Thompson for LeBron James and let me tell you why. Thompson is a third option and religiously shoots better than 47 percent from the field..he's a career 42 percent shooter from three point range…he's a marksman. He's not better then LeBron James, but he's younger, he's a bettter shooter and oh by the way, the Warriors don't need LeBron.

If you Klay Thompson and you on another team and they have the choice between you and LeBron that's different, but you are Golden State and you don't need LeBron….If i'm succesful without you why would I need to bring LeBron James on board..you don't need it, that's how much I value Klay Thompson.”

As good as Klay Thompson is, they also have Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry who have no issue putting up points, especially from behind the arc.

LeBron would give the Warriors another winner who can do it all. Thompson is a good shooter, but that is about all he seems to do.

If he was on a different team without as much star power, and floor spacing as the Warriors Thompson's numbers would go down, as he wouldn't get as many open shots as he has now.

If LeBron did decide he wanted to go the Warriors this summer, that might be the type of decision that the Warriors front office would have to make.
