There was a hectic finish to Saturday night's clash between the Golden State Warriors and the Charlotte Hornets. Draymond Green was ejected in the final seconds. As the dust has settled, Steve Kerr admits that Green ‘crossed the line' with his ejection versus the Hornets.

“He crossed the line,” Kerr said of Green, via ESPN's Nick Friedell. “That's the main thing. We (Warriors) love his passion and his energy. We would not be the team we are without him, but that doesn't give him license to cross that line, and he knows that.”

With time winding down in the game, Brad Wanamaker of the Warriors would get tied up with LaMelo Ball. The officials would call for a jump ball with 9.3 seconds remaining as Golden State held a 100-98 lead.

After the jump ball was tipped, Gordon Hayward was able to grab the ball as Green came over to attempt to force another jump ball. Instead of rewarding the Warriors with a jump ball, the officials gave Charlotte a timeout, causing Green to become irate.

Green was quickly given two technical fouls, which led to his immediate ejection for the Warriors. At the same time, the Hornets had two free throws and possession of the ball. Terry Rozier would knock down both free throws and proceed to hit the game-winning shot from the left corner.

Throughout his career, Green has never been shy of expressing his emotions, which allows him to be the great leader he is for the Warriors. However, Kerr believes Green overstepped his boundaries after being ejected in a crucial moment of Saturday's loss.
