There has been plenty of speculation regarding what the Golden State Warriors plan to do with center DeMarcus Cousins upon his return and, as expected, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has long given the challenge of integrating Cousins into Golden State's current collection of talent some thought.

There are countless potential player rotations to explore with five All-Stars on the roster and according to Mark Medina of The Mercury News, Kerr has entertained some ideas but wants to quell whatever sense there is that the big man's return is imminent:

“We have thought about how we’ll use him. Some of the actions we would run, we would probably run more often with him than we’d run right now,” Kerr said. “(I’ve) thought about combinations and who we would play him with, that sort of thing. But we’re also not really that close.”

Kerr has been adamant about Cousins' timetable still being up in the air and he does not expect him back any time soon. Regardless, it is still certainly understandable for him to start working out some potential ideas. Although the Warriors have the second-best record in the Western Conference at 21-10, it's clear that they have yet to play up to their full potential.

Prior to suffering a torn Achilles, Cousins was arguably the best big man in the NBA.

However, there is concern that his immense size will affect his recovery time. Although he has yet to experience any reported setbacks, the Warriors seem to be in no rush to bring him back any time soon.

Of course, this makes sense considering Golden State is simply playing for the postseason at this point. Kerr will have ample time to determine where Cousins would fit best on this star-studded roster by then.
