Concurrent with a prior report, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expects shooting guard Klay Thompson to play tonight against the Houston Rockets, while forward Andre Iguodala is considered a game-time decision, according to Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News.

Iguodala’s individual defense was sorely missed in Game 4, as the perennial wing hound had held the star backcourt of James Harden and Chris Paul to an awful 1-of-41 from the field in plays where he was the primary defender.

His impact as a one-on-one hawk and a threat in passing lanes was felt mostly in the fourth quarter, as the Warriors felt a few stops short of walking away with a win despite a playoff-worst 3-of-18 shooting performance in the period.

Thompson has struggled since a 28-point outing in Game 1, one which the Warriors are hoping he can replicate going back on the road, after posting eight, 13, and 10 points in his last three games.

The Warriors have been rather mysterious on their approach to Game 5, as head coach Steve Kerr hinted at making some adjustments after giving the Rockets their home court advantage back, having initially stole it in Game 1 at the Toyota Center.

The final call on the starting lineup and the condition of both players will likely remain a secret until minutes before the game when both lineups are announced.
