Much was made about Draymond Green's shaky regular season, but the Golden State Warriors big man has turned it on in the playoffs and is a big reason why the Warriors are now in their fifth straight NBA Finals. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says that we are now seeing the very best of Green.

“Yes, he lost his weight and got himself in much better condition over the last couple of months,” said Kerr, via 95.7 The Game. “He's a different guy. He looks different. He's slimmer and sleeker and faster, and I think that confidence has allowed him to be more poised on the floor. When you're playing well and feeling good about yourself, it's easier to sort of maintain your emotions … But this is the best, you're seeing the best of Draymond right now.”

It's hard to argue with that.

In these playoffs, Green is averaging 13.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, 8.2 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.4 steals over 37.7 minutes per game while shooting 52.1 percent from the floor, 21.1 percent from three-point range and 66 percent from the free-throw line.

Those numbers are in stark contrast to the regular season, when he posted 7.4 points, 7.3 boards, 6.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks across 31.3 minutes a night while making 44.5 percent of his field-goal attempts, 28.5 percent of his long-distance tries and 69.2 percent of his foul shots.

This season represented the first time Green did not average double figures in scoring since the 2013-14 campaign when he was primarily a bench player, and it also marked the first time Green did not make an All-Star appearance since 2015.
