The Golden State Warriors are widely considered to be the favorite to not only reach the NBA Finals yet again this season, but to bag another title altogether. However, Dubs head coach Steve Kerr seems intent on keeping his feet on the ground, opting to deflect a question pertaining to his team's chances of going all the way this season:

To be fair to the reporter, the backdrop behind Kerr serves as a blatant reminder of the Warriors' back-to-back titles over the past two seasons. While they are widely regarded as the team to beat this year, Kerr does not want to think that far ahead.
Instead, Kerr decided to focus on the performance of big man DeMarcus Cousins, who had a stellar night in Golden State's razor-thin 125-123 victory against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. The 28-year-old recorded a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double on 6-of-12 shooting. He also drained a 3-pointer while adding three assists and a block.
The Warriors kept their foot on the gas in their first game following the All-Star break. The team has now won six out of their last seven games in the month of February, and the Dubs currently sit in the top spot of the Western Conference.
It's still a long way before the Finals in June, but we're likely going to see the Warriors defend their title in what could turn out to be a historic three-peat for the legacy-seeking franchise.
