Outspoken Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr once again vented his ire on Twitter, this time against those who oppose wearing face masks in public.

The three-time NBA champion tactician tackled the sensitive issue of “mask debating” after several groups claim the medical equipment as restricting and unnecessary.

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged the world earlier this year, the World Health Organization has urged people to wear face masks at all times in public places. It's practically one of the basic necessities in the so-called “new normal”, but some people still question its effectivity and purpose.

When worn right, the mask covers a person's face and nose and prevents catching and transmitting bacteria shed in liquid droplets and aerosol.

Steve Kerr, meanwhile, has long been a voice of reason towards societal issues. It's not surprising to see the fiery coach get all riled up towards others' stubbornness.

The issue of wearing masks has also been prevalent inside the NBA bubble at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has taken some heat after questioning the use of masks, especially since players get tested for the virus every day.

The league has flagged Howard multiple times for walking around the facility without a mask on.

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was the opposite, vowing to keep wearing a mask at all times inside the bubble, saying “I don't want to die.”

As for Kerr, he doesn't have to worry about his players not wearing masks inside the bubble since they were one of the eight teams left out.
