Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was spotted dining with San Antonio Spurs tactician Gregg Popovich on Tuesday, but it's not to talk about Kawhi Leonard.

A photo of Kerr and Popovich talking in a Bay Area restaurant circulated online. While there isn't much to be taken from a photo of two NBA coaches and good friends, there are some people who speculated that the Warriors coach is asking for advice on how to play against Leonard — a former player of Popovich with the Spurs.

However, Kerr denied those talks and said that he met with Popovich primarily to discuss about the upcoming World Championships, where he will serve as assistant coach to Pop.

Leonard has been an unstoppable force for the Raptors, as he is averaging 31.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals this postseason. Even more remarkable, he is doing it at an efficient 50.7 percent shooting from the field, 38.8 percent from the 3-point line and 87.5 percent from the charity stripe.

With that said, it wouldn't be wrong for Kerr to gather information about Kawhi. Besides, they only met the Raptors two times during the regular season — and both of which ended in a Raptors win.

Nonetheless, as Kerr said, Pop is not that kind of coach. Also, with the reputation he has, it's unlikely Popovich has a grudge on Leonard for his messy exit with the Spurs.
