Steve Kerr knows he's lucky to coach the Golden State Warriors, even calling his roster as “a coach's dream.”

In an interview with Dennis Scott of NBA TV, Kerr looked back briefly on his playing career where he was regarded as one of the best shooters out there. Back when he was a player, it's not normal to see players heaving shots from 30 or 35 feet out and draining them with ease.

For Kerr, the game has definitely evolved. And for his players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, this has become part of who they are. If you give them enough space, they won't hesitate to throw up a 35-foot shot which, more often than not, swishes the net.

But more than their ‘flamethrower mentality,' what sets them apart from the rest is their selfishness. They want the other people in the team to succeed as well.

Perhaps this is what makes the Kerr-led squad so unique. It's easy to say that they're winning all these games and championships because they have a ton of talent in the roster. However, there's certainly more to the Dubs their star-studded roster aptly called the ‘Death Lineup.'

On top of Kerr's system which has effectively utilized and maximized their skill set, the team culture in the Warriors is deeply embedded in them. Success only means something if the whole team experiences it.
