Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins are two of the more colorful players in the NBA, and having them in the same locker room might scare some folks, but Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr feels prepared.

Kerr and Green didn't always have the greatest relationship, but they seem to have figured out the differences in the last few years, leading to a tight bond between player and coach.

Cousins signed for the mid-level exception with the Warriors, but when exactly he will see the court again is still up in the air. He told reporters at the summer league that he was aiming for training camp, but that isn't so sure anymore.

“I was aiming for training camp, but I've communicated with the staff and the coaches, and it's kind of up in the air,” Cousins said at a news conference via ESPN's Chris Haynes. “It will be when I'm ready, 100 percent ready, and we'll take it from there.”

Cousins is happy with how the recovery has gone and is now just looking to build back his strength.

“It's coming along great,” he said. “Basically, the healing part is over, and now it's just about building strength. I'm improving each and every day. I feel stronger each and every day, and it's just a matter of time before I'm back on the floor.”

Whenever Cousins comes back, it's going to be a fascinating treat watching how exactly he fits in with the team the Warriors have already established.
