Golden State Warriors forward Jordan Bell is expected to finally get some significant burn time in an NBA Finals. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed that Bell will play in their 2019 NBA Finals showdown against the Toronto Raptors. The three-time NBA champion said that Bell earned his place in the regular rotation in the playoffs, and will likely be a vital piece off the bench for Golden State in the series.

“He's going to play,” Kerr said of Bell via Mark Medina of The Mercury News. “We'll see how it all shakes out. It depends on match-ups, health and the rest. But even if everybody is healthy, Jordan will find his way on to the court. He’s earned that.”

Bell showed flashes of brilliance during their four-game sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2019 Western Conference Finals. The 24-year-old forward averaged 6.8 points on 56.8 percent shooting from the field on top of 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 rebounds per game.

The former Oregon standout is expected to get meaningful minutes against the Raptors, as superstar Kevin Durant remains out with a calf injury. The Warriors have already announced that Durant has yet to get clearance to return to on-court activities. Durant is expected to return at some point of the finals along with DeMarcus Cousins.
