Game 4 didn't quite go the Golden State Warriors' way against the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors went into a huge hole, nearly dug themselves out of it, but then fell just short at the end. The up-and-down performance resulted in the squad's first loss of the playoffs against the Nuggets.

One thing that stood out to Steve Kerr was turnovers.

“Too much dribbling,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “Way too much dribbling and not just moving the ball on to the next guy and letting him make the play.”

The Warriors didn't have a ton of turnovers, but taking care of the ball was something Kerr thought they could have done a better job at doing, specifically in the first half. They finished the night with 15 turnovers, and 11 of them came in the first two quarters.

“But again, in the second half, we didn't turn it over much,” Kerr said. “We took care of it. We played a lot smarter and moved the ball, but you can't expect to win a playoff game on the road only playing one good half.”

The Dubs lost the game 126-121 in Denver, making the series 3-1. This set the record for most points the Warriors ever allowed the Nuggets to score in a playoff game. The previous high was 117 points in 2013.

This minor setback is the first one for the Warriors this postseason, and it's one they should easily overcome. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit, and the Warriors are taking Game 5 very seriously. Klay Thompson said they have to treat this game like a must-win, so you can anticipate seeing an aggressive, energetic Warriors squad on Wednesday back at home.
