Another day, another quote from Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr saying he's hopeful superstar small forward Kevin Durant will return in the next game.

Kerr says he's hoping Durant can play in Game 5 or 6 of the NBA Finals. If the Warriors lose Game 4 on Friday, there might not be a Game 6, as the Toronto Raptors could close out the series in Game 5 up in Toronto.

Even Warriors fans are starting to get the sense that Durant isn't going to play in the Finals. Saturday will mark a month since Durant suffered his injury. It's hard to envision a scenario where KD misses all this time and just jumps right back into the fire of a Finals game and plays well.

Some around the league believe the Warriors are covering up Durant's injury and that it's more than just a right calf strain. It's unlikely to be an Achilles tear since KD has been walking around, but some sort of Grade 2 tear of the calf could be in play.

Friday could be the last game ever played at Oracle Arena. The Warriors are moving to downtown San Francisco next season to play in The Chase Center. With that said, Golden State is expected to play like a desperate team on Friday.
