The Golden State Warriors are going to miss the playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era.

Kerr joined the Warriors in the summer of 2014, replacing Mark Jackson and instantly helping the Dubs become a dynasty. The Warriors went to five straight Finals under Kerr, going 3-2.

However, this season has been a disaster from start to finish. Golden State has the worst record in the NBA, so Kerr has been a little more loose — which led to some fun on Twitter:

This season, there's no Kevin Durant, who is now with the Brooklyn Nets. There's no Andre Iguodala, who is on the Miami Heat after his exile with the Memphis Grizzlies finally ended.

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are still here for Steve Kerr and the Warriors, but Curry is out with his hand injury while Thompson hasn't played all season due to his ACL tear. On the other hand, Green has been bitten by the injury bug as he tries to play the leadership role for the youngsters on the Dubs.

The Warriors got some fresh blood at the trade deadline by acquiring former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins from the Minnesota Timberwolves. It remains to be seen, however, how his stint with the Dubs will pan out.

Kerr and the Warriors are going to get a high draft pick, so that's something they can look forward to. Plus, the returns of Curry and Thompson next season with Wiggins and Green as the supporting cast are expected to propel Golden State back to their usual heights.
