The Golden State Warriors cruised to their 18th win of the season in a 123-95 defeat of the Miami Heat after a strong second half push.

However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been quite vocal over the last few games about his team's overall effort on the court. Following Sunday's victory, Kerr gave a hilarious response to why he believed Golden State finally put together a strong team performance.

“We just needed to get some sun and hit the clubs. That's what the coaches and I did we were out all night. We were at a rave and we didn't get back until 9 a.m.”

Despite the sarcastic approach to the situation, the Warriors haven't gotten off to a typically strong start to the season where they have been tested by teams that are not even title contenders. This includes dropping games to the Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons.

The Warriors have been dealing with injuries to Kevin Durant who's been bothered by a nagging ankle injury, while Stephen Curry is working through a hand ailment. This has prevented them from truly putting together a strong stretch of games.

That said, this is simply nitpicking a team that boasts the most explosive offense with a league-best 118.0 points per game on 51.2 percent shooting from the field and 40.1 percent from beyond the arc. It may just be a matter of time before the Warriors string together a hot stretch of games this season.
