Steve Kerr apparently isn't a fan of traveling among NBA players. On Thursday night, the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets battled in a classic Western Conference matchup. In one particular play, James Harden performed his usual stepback 3-point jumper to seal the game for the Rockets.

However, Kerr firmly believed that Harden traveled and went to Twitter to complain. In his reply to a tweet that has since been deleted, Kerr expressed his dissatisfaction with the no-call and how the league doesn't emphasize the importance of legal ball handling.

“It's an embarrassment. I think the league is so happy with all the scoring that it doesn't want to enforce stuff like that.”

Kerr quickly deleted the tweet, acknowledging that he sent it by mistake. The NBA turned a blind eye and refused to punish Kerr for criticizing officials, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Kerr stated that he initially wanted to send the reply as a message to a friend.

“A friend DM'd me and said what do you think about this clip, and I responded to him,” Kerr said. “I hit send, and I was like, ‘Oh no.' I went right over to [assistant coach] Chris DeMarco because I have no idea how to delete a tweet. I rarely even send a tweet, let alone delete one, so I gave it to DeMarco. He deletes it after maybe thirty seconds, and I go, ‘What do you think? Am I going to get away with it?' And he goes, ‘Hell no.'

Kerr is an outspoken critic of many things, especially when referees don't see eye to eye with him. Luckily for the Warriors coach, his failure to understand his new smartphone saved him from a fine by the NBA.
