Steve Kerr is one of the most entertaining and hilarious personalities in the entire NBA. He is very comfortable speaking to reporters during interviews and press conferences and even jokes around with them often. That was exactly the case on Monday before the game between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans, when he announced that Zaza Pachulia will not see action on the night.

Instead of sharing who will start in his place, the fourth-year head coach jokingly said that he will not reveal it to confuse his counterpart, Alvin Gentry, and keep him guessing.

Of course, it’s not difficult to think that JaVale McGee will most likely be inserted into their starting unit. He’s been the primary backup of the Georgian international center and has been giving the team quality minutes, despite the limited playing time he’s getting.

Pachulia is nursing a sore left shoulder and will be given the night off to rest it, as the Dubs hope that it will do the trick to getting him back to 100 percent in their next game. David West may see an uptick in his minutes on Monday and could play at the center position as well depending on matchups and if Kerr decides to field in a small lineup.
