Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reacted to a comment shooting guard Buddy Hield made about betting his house that his Sacramento Kings would find themselves in the playoffs by the end of the regular season:

“Probably depends on how much his house costs, I have to check the value,” joked Kerr. “I love their team, I love what they're doing. I said it before the game — every time we play them, they're high energy — beautiful basketball. They're tough to guard, they put a lot of pressure on you. Who knows what's gonna happen down the stretch, a lot of good teams are battling for the playoffs. They're really good.”

The Warriors swept the Kings 4-0 in the regular-season series, but it wasn't a landslide by any means, as the Dubs only won the battle by 12 points in the four matchups combined.

Thursday's 125-123 win came down to the wire, as a pair of Hield triples down the stretch came to bite the Warriors as the Kings mounted a late rally in the fourth quarter. Hield once again had the ball in his hands with a wide-open deep 3 near the logo in the final seconds, but he hesitated to take the shot and settled for an ugly turnaround jumper inside the arc after head coach Dave Joerger previously criticized his shot selection.

Sacramento could very possibly be Golden State's opening playoff matchup if it lands the eighth and last spot of the playoffs and the Warriors remain atop of the Western Conference, making for a very interesting and fast-paced matchup.
