Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had nothing but praises for Kevin Durant for his efficient performance on Wednesday night. Durant led the Warriors to a 118-103 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on the road at the FedExForum.

Durant scored 28 points on 12-for-13 shooting from the field and was a perfect 3-for-3 from the line. The two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player also added nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals for the Warriors. When asked about Durant's performance, Kerr said that the superstar forward was brilliant.

“He does whatever he wants each game,” Kerr said of Durant via Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “I felt like he could've been 24-for-25 if he wanted, but he distributing the ball and trying to get everybody involved.”

The Warriors were on target all night long, as they shot 53.6 percent from the field, including an impressive 15-for-31 clip from beyond the arc. Their defense was also on point, as they limited the Grizzlies to 39 percent shooting from the field, including a measly 32.3 percent clip from the three-point region.

Steph Curry also had a big night for the Warriors, tallying 28 points and 10 rebounds to go along with seven assists, two blocks, and a steal in 33 minutes. DeMarcus Cousins had another solid all-around game with 16 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals, and three blocks. Klay Thompson added 13 points for the Warriors.

With the win, the Warriors remained on top of the Western Conference standings with their 51-23 record. They are just half-game ahead of the Denver Nuggets, who holds a 50-23 card heading into the homestretch of the 2018-19 NBA regular season.
