Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is hopeful that small forward Andre Iguodala will return to the lineup on Monday when the Dubs take on the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Mark Medina of The Mercury News.

Andre Iguodala is dealing with a hip injury. He has missed the previous two home games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors and won't play Friday night versus the Sacramento Kings on the road.

In 25 games for the Warriors this season, Iguodala is averaging 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists. The 2015 Finals MVP is shooting 46.0 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Golden State is 19-10 on the season, second place in the Western Conference. While Iguodala is vital to the team's success, it's still so early in the season and the Warriors don't really need his services right now, especially if the versatile swingman isn't healthy.

The Warriors are coming off a loss to the Raptors at home on Wednesday. The defeat snapped a four-game winning streak. Jonas Jerebko and Alfonzo McKinnie will continue to see extended playing time until Iguodala makes his return to the lineup. We'll see if Iggy is back in action on Monday versus Memphis.
