After Monday night's contest between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, reporters asked Steve Kerr about a tense situation with Jordan Bell that was caught on camera during the game. Bell appeared to get very angry with Kerr suddenly during a timeout in the fourth quarter, and as he walked back onto the court, Kevin Durant was seen calming him down. Whatever it was, Bell seemed very upset, and so did Kerr.

However, Kerr told Anthony Slater of The Athletic that the argument was just a “miscommunication.”

You can listen below:

Jordan Bell hasn't played many minutes in Kerr's rotation this season. After showing some flashes as a rookie after being a second-round pick in 2017, there was hope he would take a step forward in Year 2. However, Bell has shown hardly any improvement and has even regressed. This has led to some frustration, which was on display in this game.

Bell is averaging 2.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 10.9 minutes per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field. He has appeared in 44 games.

Fortunately for the Warriors, they do not need to worry about his minutes at center going forward. DeMarcus Cousins coming back from injury has allowed the Warriors to stagger and spread their minutes even further. Cousins, Green and Kevon Looney can all play center, and Golden State is looking to upgrade the position even more.

With their big win over the Lakers, the Warriors are now 33-14 on the season and sit atop the Western Conference. They will face off next against the Washington Wizards in the nation's capital.
