The Golden State Warriors are finding themselves ravaged by injuries at the worst possible time. Kevin Durant and Kevon Looney are both out, Klay Thompson is dealing with a hamstring injury while Andre Iguodala is banged up.

Not only that, but DeMarcus Cousins just came back from a quad injury that was supposed to sideline him for the rest of the playoffs.

However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is looking at the bright side ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, saying that the challenge brought on by the injuries only makes things more entertaining.

“It makes the challenge even greater but it also makes it fun. You get to test yourself,” said Kerr, according to Henry Abbott of True Hoop.

There was said to be a chance that Durant could play in Game 3, but he has been ruled out. As for Thompson, the sharpshooter is a game-time decision after suffering a hamstring strain during the fourth quarter of Game 2. Thompson led the Dubs with 25 points in the contest, which ended up being a 109-104 victory that knotted the finals up at one game apiece.

The Warriors dropped Game 1 of the Finals last week, marking the first time Golden State had lost a Game 1 in their five straight Finals appearances.

This also represents the first time this Dubs team is in the finals without home court advantage. The series now shifts to Oracle Arena for Games 3 and Game 4.
