Coming off the best individual postseason of his career, Stephen Curry will enter his ninth season with little left to accomplish after netting two championships, two Most Valuable Player awards, multiple All-Star stints, and a cornucopia of records bearing his name.

Yet, the Golden State Warriors guard will head into this season trying to repeat for the first time, and head coach Steve Kerr has shown every ounce of confidence in his game from the early get-go.

“Steph is at his absolute peak right now, physically and emotionally,” Kerr said, according to John Dickinson of 957 The Game. “This is probably as good as he's ever gonna be this year. I think he's better now than he was last year and the year before, and that's saying something. He is the most impactful offensive player in terms of what he does to the defense. Maybe ever. There's guys obviously, Michael Jordan impacted things, but the way Steph plays puts the fear of God into defenses like nobody I've ever seen.”

The five-time record-setting three-point leader was seen working on his game off the catch, stringing a couple of dribbles before pulling up for a trey.

The Warriors haven't practiced very much after returning from China, but judging by Curry's last performance — there isn't very much to hone on.

Curry dropped a whopping 40 points in three quarters against the Minnesota Timberwolves, shooting 65 percent from the floor and 67 percent from deep in what turned into a 32-point rout at the back end of a double-header in China.

The 28-year-old went from his first MVP season to an even more impressive one, winning the award unanimously in 2016 for the first time in NBA history.
