Just like everyone else in the basketball world, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was left speechless after watching Duke freshman Zion Williamson put on a show on national television Tuesday night against Kentucky.

In 23 minutes of action, Zion Williamson scored 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the field for Duke, and he wowed the crowd with his freakish athleticism on a bevy of plays.

Williamson is 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds. He has drawn comparisons to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Steve Kerr, who has battled James in four straight Finals, says Williamson could be the next LeBron.

It's only one game, but Zion Williamson already looks like a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He's not going to shoot 11-of-13 from the floor every night. When he goes up against teams that play the 2-3 zone, Williamson is going to have to prove he can consistently hit the outside jumper.

Still, his performance Tuesday was jaw-dropping.

When LeBron James came to the NBA back in 2003, his jump shot was his weakest link. LeBron put in countless hours in the gym and is now an above-average shooter, at least from mid-range.

One would surmise that Zion Williamson will have the same path as James and be a lethal driver in his early days and then develop a consistent outside game over time.
