Call it a rookie mistake, but Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not happy with what James Wiseman failed to do during the break.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday as they prepare to play the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, Kerr revealed that Wiseman didn't practice with the team after missing a COVID-19 test during the break. While it's uncertain what it means for the Warriors rookie and if he will miss their upcoming game, his coach clearly sounded disappointed with the development.

During the 2020-21 season when the NBA resumed in the Orlando Bubble, players were required to quarantine and do the tests if they miss COVID-19 testing. With that said, it's likely James Wiseman is already serving his quarantine.

Hopefully, he'll be available for the Warriors when they return to action against the Clippers. After all, Steve Kerr and his Dubs really need all the help they can get as they try to climb up the West standings. Heading into the break, Golden State fell to ninth place with a 19-18 record–the Memphis Grizzlies have since overtaken them following Wednesday's win against the Washington Wizards.

The Warriors' are severely lacking in the frontcourt, so Wiseman's possible absence is a huge blow to their playoff chances in the second half of the season where every game matters. As Stephen Curry said previously, they want to finish at least sixth in the standings and avoid the play-in tournament all together. However, that also means everyone on the team needs to stay healthy and avoid any issue that will keep them out of games in the pandemic-stricken campaign
