The Golden State Warriors had a collision course with the Boston Celtics last night — a game that brought playoff atmosphere with all the hype and the expectations before the game began.

They did not disappoint.

The Warriors outlasted the Celtics 115-111 in undoubtedly one of the best games of the season. It was a slugfest right from the get-go, as both teams endured all the haymakers thrown by the other. Their best players came out to play and they delivered.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had high praises for the Celtics. In an interview with NBC Sports' Darren Hartwell, Kerr said he sees Boston as one of the best teams in the league right now.

“They are one of the best teams in the league. They're great defensively and they've got dynamic offensive players. They're already one of the best,” Steve Kerr explaind.

“I think the league is better this year than it's been in a long time. … But Boston is clearly a great two-way team, and that's what it takes in the playoffs.”

The Celtics have struggled in terms of consistency throughout the season. While they usually play their best against the league contenders, they have also lost several games to non-playoff and even lottery-bound teams. However, it seems that they are starting to figure things out, and their loss against the Dubs should serve as an example that they can be an elite team if they want to.

Both teams will meet again on March 3, though it's the Celtics turn to visit the Warriors at Oracle Arena.
