Following the Golden State Warriors' gruesome 33-point home defeat at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, head coach Steve Kerr has sent a stern message to his players, and at the same time, to the rest of the league as well.

According to Kerr, the time has come for the Dubs to go all out without any hesitation, as the time for holding back has now become beyond them.

“It’s time,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Thursday, via Dieter Kurtenbach of The Mercury News. “It’s time for us to turn it up, to lock in.”

The Warriors were absolutely terrible against the Celtics, as they were playing with very little to no sense of urgency throughout the contest. Coach Kerr was obviously displeased by his team's effort, and has declared that a drastic change must come at the soonest possible time.

The 53-year-old coach then went on to admit that the Warriors have not been giving a hundred percent, but that this notion will now be thrown out the window.

“We’ve had to pace ourselves somewhat the last two seasons — and I think you can tell,” he added.
“That’s over with.”

It will be interesting to see how the Warriors respond to the humiliating defeat they suffered against a formidable Celtics side. They are scheduled to take the court again on Friday as they face the second-seeded Denver Nuggets, so this will definitely be a great opportunity for the team to show how they have heeded their coach's call.
