If there's one person who's had enough of the “drama” between President Donald Trump and Big Baller Brand founder LaVar Ball, look no further than Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.

On Friday with ESPN, LaVar downplayed Trump's help in China with the alleged shoplifting situation involving his son LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA basketball players.

“Who?” LaVar said. “What was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

This reaction from him eventually got a tweet from Trump on Sunday in which he called out LaVar and LiAngelo by name.

What's Steve Kerr's take on all of this? In a video tweeted by Anthony Slater of The Athletic before the Warriors' game against the Brooklyn Nets, Kerr said that people just need to stop paying attention to both of them.

“Two people seeking attention and they're both getting it, so I'm sure both guys are really happy,” Kerr said. “You know what would help? If all of you just stopped covering both of them. Is that possible? You could probably stop covering LaVar. I don't think you could stop covering the president. I don't think that'll work.

In fact, the Warriors coach would frankly just like LaVar and Trump to stop talking in general.

“It would be nice for all of us if both of them would just be quiet,” Kerr said with a laugh. “Wouldn't that be great?”
