Steve Kerr won't commit to a set starting lineup after the myriad of injuries plaguing the team through the last three weeks of the season.

The Golden State Warriors head coach trotted out G League standout Quinn Cook at point guard and rookie Jordan Bell to make his second start of the year at power forward against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, but won't necessarily stick to featuring them in the near future.

“I liked the rotation last night, but I won't commit to anything right now,” said Kerr. “Especially now with Zaza (Pachulia) out, everything is like a domino effect. If Zaza is out, it could affect who I start, not only at center, but at point guard, in order to get some combinations out on the floor.”

Stephen Curry sat out his first game of a two-week sideline stint, Draymond Green was soon after listed out for Wednesday's game, only to get even more company, as Pachulia joined them after leaving the game in the first quarter with left shoulder discomfort.

Cook had a serviceable start, notching eight points, three rebounds, and three assists through 22 minutes.

“To quote the great Herm Edwards ‘he is who he thought he was',” said Kerr of Quinn. “He was great last night, we knew when we signed him as a two-way that if this situation arose, that this is what he would do. He's proven it in the league before, he's rock solid.”

While Kerr air-balled on the reference to former Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green, it still got the point across. Quinn will fit in seamlessly in this rotation, but he isn't married to the idea of him as a backup, rather turning to a game-by-game feel to experiment with different lineups on the court.
