Draymond Green is already ruled out for the Golden State Warriors' Wednesday night game against the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas, but Steve Kerr provided a hilarious response to a question about whether or not Green will travel with the team:

Green won't miss out on a chance to spend a night in Vegas. Why would anybody pass up on that opportunity? Green is sitting out the game with knee soreness, although he doesn't think the soreness will amount to much in the long-term. The Warriors are just playing it safe with their dynamic big man.

The NBA seems to be showing increased interest in Las Vegas. The expansion and subsequent success of the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League was on full display this past summer. Additionally, the legalization of sports betting provides an interesting nuance for the league's relationship with Vegas.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but it's safe to assume that at some point in the future, the league will look to expand. Obviously, bringing a team back to Seattle would be an excellent move for the NBA. But a team in Las Vegas is plausible as well. The Vegas Golden Knights found immediate success and support in the NHL, and the Oakland Raiders are relocating to Vegas in 2019.

The city is finally hosting professional franchises and could be a logical option for an NBA expansion team. If Draymond Green is any indication, the players wouldn't mind traveling to Vegas a couple times each season.
