After Kevon Looney's breakout performance in Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies, temporary head coach Mike Brown revealed that Draymond Green and Stephen Curry made the call to start the Golden State Warriors big man. While that sounds great and all, some couldn't help but ask: how about Klay Thompson?

Now, according to Brown, Thompson was actually part of the conversation. The problem is he fell asleep on the flight back to San Francisco.

“You know what, Klay was asleep on the flight back, so he was part of the conversation but he had his shades on, his headband on and he had a blanket over him so we didn't get much out of Klay when we tried to include him in the decision,” Brown explained with a grin on his face, via NBC Sports.

It is definitely a hilarious anecdote, but hey, we can't blame Klay Thompson for using the time to rest. He was probably charging himself for what would be another addition to the legend of Game 6 Klay.

Thompson was phenomenal for the Warriors during Friday's 110-96 win, exploding for 30 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the 3-point line. He also had eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks in an all-around effort for the team.

If Klay will always play like that by sleeping during a flight, then the Dubs better give the man the sleep he needs.
