Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman lost his starting job in the Dubs' latest game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but as far as Kevon Looney is concerned, the youngster should not sweat too much about it.

While some may think that Steve Kerr's decision to shake up the lineup and bench Wiseman was a bad sign for the rookie, Looney emphasized that it was far from the case. He even went as far as to say that Wiseman may be re-inserted into the starting five over the course of the next few games.

“I talked to him a little bit about this (role change) is kind of what Steve likes to do. I wouldn't be surprised if in four, five games, he switches again. That's kind of the Warriors way at the center position,” Kevon Looney said of James Wiseman's benching, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

For what it's worth, Kerr's lineup change worked wonders for the Warriors against the Timberwolves, whom the Dubs thrashed 130-108 on Monday. Wiseman played only 16 minutes in the game, but he did finish with 13 points and four boards.

The Warriors currently sit at a nearly even 9-8 record on the season, which is good for eighth place in the Western Conference standings as of writing. For what it's worth, the team is also not far behind from the teams at the top of the table, with the 10-7 Denver Nuggets at fourth.

Golden State is 5-5 in the team's last 10 games. They will play the Timberwolves on Wednesday once again in hopes of completing a two-game sweep.
