Having won the NBA title in three of the past four seasons, the Golden State Warriors are unquestionably one of the most, if not the most, influential teams in the league today. So much so that Twitter co-founder, Jack Dorsey, has acknowledged how the Warriors continue to impact the direction of his social media platform.

The 41-year-old Dorsey spoke with Alex Kennedy on his The HoopsHype Podcast recently and discussed several subjects pertaining to his multi-billion dollar company.

As a Bay Area resident, Dorsey is a self-proclaimed Warriors fan. He spoke about his love for the Dubs and the sport of basketball in general. To him, the culture the Warriors had built was one of the most important aspects of the organization.

“I really latched on the the Warriors probably around five years ago,” claims Dorsey. “One of the things that has always been impressive is not the focus on the individual players, but the team dynamic. And I just think that Steve Kerr is a phenomenal coach in his understanding of what makes a great team dynamic.”

Dorsey was inspired, and wanted to apply this very mindset to his company.

“I was reminded how important team dynamic is,” Dorsey added. “It really inspired me to extend it to our work and to our team and what to we have to do.”

With the Warriors on the cusp of building one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the sport, their influence on the general public only looks to get stronger. It would not be impossible to think that within the next few years, the Warriors could end up becoming the most influential sports franchise globally.
