The Miami Heat managed to stay alive in Game 6 with a win in Boston. A do-or-die game hardly needs any additional motivation, but Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green gave the Heat some extra fuel.

After the Warriors clinched the Western Conference Finals win on Thursday, Draymond Green joined the TNT crew to field some questions. Shaq tried to prod a spicy answer from Draymond over which team he'd rather face, but Green gave him something a little better – he claimed the Celtics were set to be their next opponent.

“You're asking me who I wanna play, I'mma tell you who I think we're gonna play. We're gonna play Boston. That's who we're gonna play,” said Draymond after the Warriors win.

Given that Miami was still very much alive in the series, the Warriors star's words didn't sit well with the Heat veterans. After Jimmy Butler put up a performance of a lifetime to force a Game 7, the call-outs began.

Udonis Haslem didn't wait too long after the final buzzer to put Draymond Green on blast.

Later on, the Heat icon vocalized his frustrations with a NSFW rant about why Draymond Green “broke the code.”

“Draymond broke the code. You ain’t supposed to say some sh*t like that. He let Shaq peer pressure him into saying some sh*t he ain’t got no business saying. I didn’t sleep much after he said that. That was some bullsh*t.”

Fellow veteran P.J. Tucker was in disbelief himself, unable to understand how the Warriors talisman could make such a prediction when the series was far from over.

“I don’t know what part of the game is that. A player picking a team before they’re out. That’s crazy, bro.”

Draymond Green could very well still be right in his prediction if the Boston Celtics could pull off the Game 7 win. But win or lose, the Heat are likely not going to forget the slander anytime soon.
