A lot of NBA fans are not happy with the way officials are blowing their whistles on technical fouls this season. In fact, it's gotten so out of hand. Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole learned this the hard way when even his shooting celebration got penalized for a technical against the Washington Wizards at Captial One Arena on Wednesday.

After cutting the home team's lead to single digits with a corner triple, a pumped-up Poole celebrated as he raced back to the other end of the court. However, one ref did not take his Poole's energy too kindly and penalized him for showing a little emotion.

Here's the questionable technical foul called on the 21-year-old guard.

What in the world was that? Is it a crime to celebrate a made bucket nowadays? Poole didn't seem to be taunting anybody and just seemed to hype himself up following that impressive shot. The ref, however, did not see it that way and was somehow offended by the Dubs playmaker's actions.

Entering Wednesday's road game in D.C., Poole has been averaging career-highs of 10.7 points on 42.9 percent shooting from the field and a 33.9 percent clip from long range in 37 games played. Poole definitely wants to continue his hot streak for the Warriors. He might have to tone down on his celebrations in this game.
