Professional athletes have a myriad of ways to prepare for an event. Some simply listen to music, while others prefer stringent practice routines. For Warriors big man Willie Cauley-Stein, however, it's corn dogs.

That's right. Rather than following some fancy diet program, Cauley-Stein admits that he scarfs down some corn dogs before taking the court for an NBA game.

Golden State Warriors center Willie Cauley-Stein's said he's “not a weirdo,” so when he was asked during an Ask Me Anything if he had any weird pregame rituals, he said no. But then he revealed what his pregame meal is – and it's pretty weird.

He eats corn dogs before running out on the court for NBA games. Corn dogs. After his admission, he asked if that was weird.

Hey, the man likes corn dogs. No shame here. Hmm… ketchup or mustard?

Cauley-Stein, now 25 years of age, signed with the Warriors earlier this month. Per team policy, the finer details of the contract were not released, but reports indicate that his deal is of the veteran's minimum variety (one-year, $1.7 million).

The former University of Kentucky standout made 81 appearances with the Sacramento Kings last season, racking up averages of 11.9 points on 55.6 percent shooting from the field (50.0 percent from beyond the arc), 8.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.3 minutes per outing.
