Golden State Warriors big man Willie Cauley-Stein has been sidelined for the past three games due to a foot injury, but he is expected to be available for Wednesday night's game against the Phoenix Suns, according to a report from Logan Murdock of NBC Sports.

This is great news for the Warriors, as they are a team that could use a bit of help in the frontcourt. The former No. 6 overall pick out of Kentucky has reportedly been scrimmaging in the G League with Santa Cruz and was rumored to be nearing a return.

Cauley-Stein signed with the Warriors on July 8, agreeing to the terms of a two-year, $4.4 million deal. The four-year NBA veteran averaged 11.9 points on 55.6 percent shooting from the field, 8.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.3 minutes over 81 games (all starts) with the Sacramento Kings last season.

With Kevon Looney sidelined indefinitely by right hamstring tightness, Cauley-Stein could see quite a bit of playing time. His length will likely help a Warriors defense that has struggled through the early stages of this season. He's been out of his walking boot for weeks, and it sounds like he's itching to play:

“If it’s up to me, I’m in there,” Cauley-Stein said via the San Francisco Chronicle.

Wednesday night's matchup between the Warriors and Suns is set to tip inside the new Chase Center at 10:30 p.m. ET.
