Having played together back in the 2015-16 season, Zaza Pachulia and Dirk Nowitzki formed a strong bond and remain friends until this day. During the preseason game between the Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic on Monday, the Golden State Warriors center had the chance to watch Nowitzki in action, as his team did not have a game on the night.
One play caught the attention of many as the 7-foot German international fell to the floor while backpedalling toward their opponents’ side. Despite no one being close to him in proximity, Nowitzki lost his balance and hilariously slid.

Zaza Pachulia made sure his former teammate will not get away with it easily, as he took to his Twitter account to fire a friendly jab directed at him.

The tweet only goes to show that the two have a good relationship, and continue to share a few laughs together. Despite only playing one year with each other, the friendship they have should last even if they’re both not in the league anymore.
Dirk Nowitzki is known to be active on social media as well, and often comes up with some hilarious posts of his own. It remains to be seen if he’ll have a comeback for the comments made by Pachulia, but it won’t come as a surprise if he’ll make one in the coming days, which will sure be very entertaining for their fans.
