NBA TV took full advantage of what was probably the most highly anticipated game and offered viewing of the game for free to the public.

According to Associated Press, Sunday's game between the Warriors and Spurs averaged nearly 2.6 million viewers, 78 percent higher than the previous record for the network. That includes playoff games. An earlier Warriors-Spurs matchup averaged 1.4 million viewers.
