Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green is reportedly the only player on the team who cares about Kevin Durant's impending free agency, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Durant can become an unrestricted free agent after this season ends if he declines his 2019-20 player option with Golden State. Many around the league, including some in the Warriors' locker room, believe the nine-time All-Star is going to leave the club in the summer.

There may be others in that locker room who don’t like how Kevin Durant has navigated these waters — and our Marcus Thompson has reported that there is — but no one has chosen to share those views like this.

“No one cares except for Draymond,” one source insisted.

On Monday at Staples Center against the LA Clippers, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into a heated argument on the bench, and it carried over to the postgame locker room. Green reportedly called Durant a “bit**” multiple times and challenged KD about his impending free agency.

The rift began after Green had a costly turnover versus the Clippers at the end of regulation. Durant was clapping at Green to give him the ball, but the rugged defender ignored him and dribbled the ball into traffic, resulting in a turnover. The Warriors ended up losing in overtime.

Since joining the Warriors in 2016, Kevin Durant has won two straight NBA Finals and Finals MVPs. Looks like Draymond Green is upset that KD hasn't committed to the organization long-term and feels like Durant isn't fully invested this season. Barring something unforeseen, though, the Warriors are likely going to win the title again, but Durant's summer free agency is going to continue to be a frequent talking point throughout the season.
