The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly been floating with the idea of trading away Collin Sexton with the New York Knicks being one possible suitor. As it turns out, the Golden State Warriors could have interest in acquiring Sexton.

On the other hand, there might be a catch in a potential Sexton-Warriors deal of any sort.

Perhaps the 14th pick then? Who knows.

The Warriors' nucleus includes Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, so there could be questions regarding the fit with Sexton. At the same time, they could run a three-guard lineup and absolutely terrorize opposing teams offensively.

The Warriors are looking to do anything they possibly can to not waste away Curry and Klay's time with Golden State, and after being eliminated in the play-in tournament, rumors have swirled about the Dubs being active on the market.

As for the Cavs, they hold the third pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and it could be Evan Mobley, or either Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs. The latter would make it easier for the Cavs to deal Sexton, assuming one of the Jalens steps up and takes over his spot in the starting five.

The Warriors seem hesitant to deal James Wiseman, at least in this particular deal. Still, thoughts of a Klay, Steph, and Sexton trio is something to think about.
